Kim brings to her clients a love of home and design, a determination to deliver results, an uncompromising eye for detail, experience in social media and use of the latest technology, and a sense of humor. She loves working with first-time home buyers and having experienced the joy (and anxiety) of purchasing a home, she is eager for all her clients to have the same opportunity to call a house their own.
Kim attended Monte Vista high school in Danville and knew the first time she hiked the golden hills of Northern California that she was home. After majoring in political science, she worked as a research assistant at a public policy think tank and then for a large firm as a consultant in the national intelligence field. During her time at an intelligence agency, she specialized in financial management policy and audit remediation, and learned how to listen and deliver on the nuances of her clients’ requests. As a result, she received a rare Special Commendation from her government client for her dedicated work.
Kim and her husband moved back to the Bay Area in 2007. Eager to return West, they first settled in Sausalito and later moved to Pacific Heights. They have now found home in the beautiful Oakland Hills with their two children. While working as a consultant in California, Kim spent the majority of her time writing, reviewing and presenting contracts between her company and the state of California. Her attention to detail in both writing and numbers and her ability to cordially negotiate difficult terms won her the trust of her senior management and the respect and admiration of her state employee counterparts. She brings this attention to detail and the ability to amiably negotiate contract terms while still achieving the clients’ objectives to her work as a real estate sales associate.
It is Kim’s love of everything house and home that brought her to real estate. As a mom and trained researcher, Kim has dived in whole-heartedly to uncover the best of the East Bay for her family. She is always up on the local school ratings, where to find the best parks and most kid-friendly restaurants, and how to get involved in local activities. She is eager to share these finds with clients and friends.
When not geeking out over houses, she loves hiking with her family, pilates, reading to her little ones and volunteering for at her son’s school.
